DHAKA: Bangladesh is awaiting India's response to its request for the extradition of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and plans to issue a reminder if no reply is received, the foreign affairs ministry stated on Tuesday. Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Rafiqul Alam noted that the extradition treaty between the two nations does not stipulate a specific timeframe for responses. However, he indicated that Dhaka is prepared to take further action if India does not reply within a "reasonable" period.
